This measures 11" in height. It is much lighter than our 9 dBi option for sale on this site, and generally does not cause adapters such as the Alfa mentioned above to tip over. However in some cases with some adapters, due to the weight of the antenna you may need to mount or lean the setup in such a manner to prevent it from tipping over. This unit is brand new in OEM factory packaging (non-retail). You will receive the antenna just as shown, exactly as pictured. It has no electronic parts and requires no installation on the computer- simply attach it to the RP-SMA connector on your wireless adapter and it will automatically work. This may seem basic, but just to be clear not all wireless adapters have an external antenna connector. You should only buy this if you know your adapter has an RP-SMA connector. If you are unsure, please email us with your adapter brand and model number. State sales tax of 6% will be added to New Jersey purchases only. There is no sales tax for any other state.
